Support Groups

The Veterans Network Association’s support groups play a vital role in providing guidance, assistance, and a safe space for veterans and their families. These groups are carefully designed to address the unique challenges faced by veterans, ensuring that no one feels alone on their journey.

Support groups come in a variety of formats to best serve the needs of participants. Some gatherings are organic conversations held over coffee, offering a relaxed environment for sharing and connection. Peer-to-peer groups allow veterans to support each other through shared experiences and understanding. Additionally, some support groups follow a structured curriculum, offering focused guidance and resources to help participants navigate specific challenges. There are also groups that blend organic conversations with peer-to-peer support, creating a flexible and welcoming atmosphere where veterans and their families can find both companionship and practical assistance.

Spreading Hope

Everyone needs a little encouragement now and then, and our Spreading Hope pillar is all about that. Through the Roger That Chronicles podcast, veterans open up about their stories, passions, and struggles, inspiring hope in fellow veteran listeners. Our Mission Cards initiative also spreads positivity to veterans and their families with heartfelt cards, letters, and notes.

Roger That Chronicles Podcast

We would like to extend our heartfelt appreciation to all the veterans who have generously shared their stories with us on the podcast. Your openness and courage have reached hundreds of fellow veterans, letting them know they are not alone as they navigate the challenges of transitioning to civilian life. This support truly makes a meaningful difference—one listener recently shared that hearing another veteran discuss their struggles gave them the encouragement they needed to reach out for help. Your stories continue to inspire others to take that important first step and share their own journeys. If you or someone you know is interested in sharing an experience, please feel free to contact us and help us continue making a positive impact together.

Podcasts are on all streaming platforms. Check one out today!

Mission cards

Our goal is to reach and uplift at least 200 veterans each year through our Mission Cards program. Veterans who share their stories on the podcast write cards to others who may be struggling. We also send cards to active military members and the families of those who serve. We’re always looking for people to help create these messages. Reach out to share a kind word with someone who will truly appreciate it.
